Over a decade ago, I began volunteering in our public schools and that's how I met many of you. This campaign was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and to make new friends, and I was thrilled that so many of you were willing to volunteer again to help improve our schools.

Although I was not elected, our efforts had a positive impact. This School Board campaign forced candidates to discuss their positions on key issues that prompted me to run for School Board, which in turn helped educate the public. That would not have happened without your help!

Our children deserve effective instruction. Our teachers deserve reasonable working conditions. And, everyone deserves to know that our tax dollars are being spent as wisely as possible. To make sure that happens, please stay involved as active volunteers in your schools and community!
